Dr. Sandeep Attawar is one of India’s leading heart surgeons and is a recognized expert in the field of cardiothoracic surgery. Over his career, he has participated in over 9000 open and closed heart surgeries and is capable of performing a variety of surgical procedures on patients of any age, from neonates to octogenarians.
In addition to his surgical expertise, Dr. Attawar is also an active member in international cardiothoracic forums such as the International Society for Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgery (ISMICS) and the Minimally Invasive Robotic Association (MIRA). He has had work published in leading journals such as the Annals of Thoracic Surgery (ATS), and regularly contributes to papers and presentations delivered across the world.
Dr. Sandeep Attawar is a firm believer in universal access to cardiac treatment, and strives to provide the highest quality of care to patients in his institution. He possesses an enviable surgical record, and has progressed to the top of his field at a youthful age.
